Spinach and Parmesan Orzo Pasta


Today I am sharing with you another one of my favorite dinners that we have had lately. This Spinach and Parmesan Orzo Pasta is a delicious dish that even my husband and children loved! Give it a try and enjoy!

Ingredients 
4 tablespoons butter divided
1 box Orzo pasta
4 cups water
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 tsp minced garlic
1 (10oz) bag of baby spinach chopped
1/2 grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions
Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a large pot over medium heat
Add the Orzo pasta and stir until browned
Stir in water and chicken broth and bring to a boil
Cover, reduce heat and simmer until noodles are tender and liquid is absorbed


Meanwhile chop the spinach and melt the remaining 2 Tbsp butter in a skillet on medium-high heat. 



Add the minced garlic and saute for a few seconds then add the spinach and saute until wilted and done


Once the Orzo is cooked add the spinach, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper to the pot.
