Hot Chocolate Mix Recipe
This year I decided it would be fun to make homemade hot chocolate mix and give it in a fun way as gifts to our family. I liked the idea of making individual servings in packets so it would be easier to serve. For each gift I gave two packets in a cup and I added chocolate chips and marshmallows in the packets.
I made the chocolate mix for the gifts the week before Christmas and I really liked it but after trying it a few times and after I already made the gifts...(eek...sorry family) I felt the mix needed something else. Since then I have tried remaking the recipe 2 times and I FINALLY got it! Too bad for our families they don't have the new recipe but at least I have it down for next year...AND I will share the recipe with you all to try out in these cold couple months ahead. ENJOY!
Hot Chocolate Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Hershey's cocoa powder12oz dry powdered milk
1/2 cup non-dairy creamer
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
10oz instant chocolate drink mix (I used Nestle Quik since I had the huge container from Costco)
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Store in an air tight container.
To make hot chocolate just add 1/3 cup of the mix to 1 cup boiling water

Nichole
