Thumbprint Cookie Recipe
Today I am sharing with you another cookie recipe that I made over the holidays that is one of my favorite. This recipe was my Grandmothers and I got it from my Mom last year and finally got around to making them. They are amazing so be sure to try them!
Thumbprint Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
3 egg whites lightly beaten
1 cup preserves (any flavor- I used Raspberry and Apricot)
Directions:
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Blend in egg yolks and vanilla. Mix in flour 1 cup at a time. Roll dough into 48 equal balls. Dip into egg whites and arrange on greased baking sheets. Press thumb in center of each cookie and fill with jam. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, cool and ENJOY!
