Cookie Cutter Heart Painting
My daughter picked out this cookie cutter set at the dollar store this last week because she said she loved hearts and needed it.. :)
So this week we made some fun paintings using this set and she had a blast doing it!
She of course wanted to start with pink.
Then added some teal
This was her first completed painting
She wanted to do an all pink one, yes she is obsessed with pink too.. Not sure where she got it from :)
Then she did another teal and pink painting.
Her final painting!
This is such a cheap and easy art project for your kids.
I would highly recommend spending the couple dollars to try it out, they will love it!

Thank you! It was a lot of fun and my daughter kept laughing thinking it was so funny that she was getting the shape of the cookie cutter on her paper :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! My daughter is 3 and absolutely loved it so I am sure yours will as well :)
DeleteWhat a great simple idea.
ReplyDeleteI see you used paper plates for the paint - we use old food containers - pie dishes, meat trays etc.
Thank you :) Yes we used paper plates for this. We usually use old baby food jars or a paint tray I had but they weren't big enough for the cookie cutter to fit in.
DeleteJust popping over from SNAP! What a fun idea. My youngest will love this! Can't wait to break out my heart cookie cutters! Thanks for the great idea.

I think they would love this. That is what I was thinking was doing all sorts of holidays and occasions with all the cookie cutters I have :)Thank you for visiting and following!
DeleteStopping by way of Southern Lovely's linky party. Can cookie cutters really make such cute paintings? Can't wait to try this with my daughter, too cute and kind of modern. Canvas art for my bare living room walls perhaps?
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by! I was totally shocked how awesome they were looking as well. These would be perfect for decor. You could paint a canvas a solid color then use a few other fun colors to match using the cookie cutters. The possibilities are amazing!
DeleteThis is super cute! I'd love it of you'd link this on Friday at Family Fun Friday at: http://happyandblessedhome.com/category/family-fun/ I post and share with a MOPS group and FB group of 300+ women and I think they would really like this.
