Fingerprint Valentine's Frame

My daughter picked this frame out when we were at Michael's Crafts one day and I decided with Valentine's  Day coming what perfect time to do something with it. I gave her a paintbrush and she went for using her fingers, probably because we had just practiced her Fingerprint Hearts right before this.

Before she began her work on the frame I painted it a solid red.

Then I gave her a plate with pink and white paint and she went to town.

Once she was done I sprayed a clear satin finish on it to give it some protection and shine.

sssshhh don't tell Grandma and Grandpa but she said she was making it for them for Valentine's Day :)

Check out some of my daughters other fun Valentine's Day Art Work.

  2. Super cute!! We did something very similar a few years ago, minus the fingerprints. Maybe we'll do that this year!
