Heart Pancakes
This week my daughter and I enjoyed some fun heart pancakes and wanted to share them with you just in time for Valentine's Day.
We simply used prepared pancake mix. You can use any kind, flavor or recipe, I just had this one in the cabinet. You will then just need food coloring to make them whatever color you want.
I first added a tiny bit of a bright pink and mixed it in.
Poor part of the batter into a squeeze bottle or piping bag.
I then added red dye to make a darker pink.
I decided to use the light pink for the inner heart since I didn't have as much.
First outline the inner heart
Then fill in the heart
Make an outline of the outer heart
Then fill that in.
This is what you should have
Ta-da! All done and ready to eat!
My Daughter loved the pancakes and I am sure your kids would love them too on Valentine's Day morning. Give them a try and maybe add some strawberries for flavor.. ENJOY!
Thanks for visiting,
Nichole
Impressive pancakes! I bet your kids tell their friends, "My mom rocks!". I would give you mom of the year.

Aw thank you! That is really sweet. Maybe when they get older they will say that. I think they are too young to understand pancakes aren't suppose to be fun colors and shapes :)
DeleteWhat a great idea! You are the coolest momma, can't wait to try these. Stopping in from the hop, newest follower.
