Big Girl Bedroom Inspiration

Now that we are moving into a new home I decided it would be fun to completely redecorate our daughters bedroom and surprise her once she arrives to the new house. 

Since my daughter was born she has had the same color bedroom and the same decor (below).

I have seen some amazing ideas on Pinterest for Big Girl Bedrooms and I have fallen in love with many of the bedrooms that I have found. After realizing what direction I wanted to go with for the room I then decided on the colors scheme, which is pink, teal, yellow and turquoise. Here are the fabrics below that I am using for some projects in the room.

I also got this gorgeous fabric from Hobby Lobby that I am going to have a blanket made out of for her bed. 

For her walls I am going to use her existing pink in her bedroom for one wall and then the rest of her walls will be a light turquoise color.
