Crockpot Tri-tip Meal

Today I am sharing with you a recipe for an entire tri-tip meal in the Crock-pot.
I am not much of a meat eater and I completely stay away from red meat, seafood, pork, etc. But my husband is the opposite of me a complete meat lover!!! So I decided to make this tri-tip recipe that I had but add the carrots and potatoes to the crock-pot as well but not touching the meat. Everything turned out delicious (at least that is what my husband said about the meat)...

To start off I put cut up carrots into foil that I shaped to be a bowl so that liquids would not escape. Add about 1 tablespoon water to them and seasoning as you desire. I added salt, pepper and a little butter.

Clean and wrap your potatoes in foil as well

For the tri-tip dish in the bottom follow the recipe below:

Ingredients
1 pound ti-tip
1/2 onion cut into cubes
1/3 cup barbecue sauce
1 tsp cider vinegar
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions
Place tri-tip in crock-pot
cover with onions
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl then pour over the meat and onions.

Place potatoes over meat

Place carrots over the potatoes then seal the carrots with another piece of foil

If your crock-pot does not close all the way cover with foil
Cook on low for 6 hours

TA-DA
All done! Time to enjoy!
