Re-purposed Starbucks Bottles
Today I am sharing this fun re-purpose project with you that many party planners and crafters might already know but it is so fun that I have to share it anyways. For my son's Barnyard birthday party I thought it would be fun to use Starbucks bottles as the drink glasses for the milk that we were serving since they look like small old fashioned milk bottles.
It's so fun when you find something like this that you typically throw into the recycling that you can actually use over and over again!
Once you have the empty and cleaned bottles the process is quite simple.
To remove the labels you want to soak the bottles in hot soapy water for about 30 minutes.
While the bottle is soapy use the scrubber side of your sponge and scrub off the expiration date as well as if there are numbers up around the top of the bottle. (some of mine had this and some didn't)
Now peal off the front and back labels and if there is any residue left use Goo Gone on a paper towel and rub it off the bottle.
You then have clean clear small bottles!
They were such a great addition to my son's party and I have many plans to use them again in the future at my daughters birthday and other parties.
There are many gift ideas on Pinterest to make using the bottles as well so DO NOT throw your
Starbucks bottles out!
Thanks for visiting,
Nichole
