Big Boy Bedroom Reveal!

Today is the day that I am finally sharing with you my son's Big Boy Bedroom!

As you might have seen from my inspiration post I was going for a nautical feel but I wanted to incorporate more than just boats.

I found this perfect decal on Etsy and I decided to work the theme around the saying. So I used planes, trains, boats and some car decor throughout the bedroom while sticking with the red, white and blue color scheme. The wood pieces along the side of the decal were purchased unfinished at our local craft store then I painted them with acrylic paints. 

The wood boat shelf in the corner was a gift from my Dad for my son's 2nd birthday and it matched the room perfectly!

The Pilot in Training sign I painted by using a pre-cut piece of wood from our local craft store

This plane frame as well as the one below are the inexpensive unfinished frames that you buy from the craft store and I painted them with acrylic paint.
